A little bit about the teacher…
Jalen Austin is a potter from Canton, Georgia who works in both wheel and hand-building, as well as making her own glazes. Growing up, Jalen always enjoyed being creative, but it wasn’t until she went to Georgia Southern University that she discovered ceramics while getting her Graphic Design degree. Since then pottery has become Jalen’s main creative outlet and she started teaching and selling her pots under Cralen Arts.
