Local Color Studio is a co-work, community art center in the heart of historic downtown Canton, GA. Designed and operated by a former high school art teacher, Shanna Coulter, the studio provides space, equipment, materials, and support for all types of creative work.

Our 2D maker space has various seating arrangements and supplies for drawing, painting and mixed media work…or you can bring your own project! Our ceramic studio is equipped with pottery wheels, kilns and space for hand building and glazing. We also have a music stage we call the Local Underground, because music is life.

Local Color is a high school art room on steroids, and it’s for everybody. Our goal is to help you achieve your creative goals, and experience the healing and joy creative work brings. We believe art is important to individuals and communities. We are here because Canton is creative, and the people deserve art!
