What to expect…
Learn the art of centering clay on the wheel with the instruction of Shanna Coulter - Control the wheel, not the other way around.
Gain helpful tips for forming your clay into a vessel.
Understand the pottery production process from start to finish including trimming, glazing, and firing.
Come to practice during open studio hours.
Who is this course for?
Whether you are looking for a new art form, aiming to work towards becoming a professional potter some day, or diving back into a past hobby this is a great way to start! Class is for ages 10-adult.
When is class?
Class will be held on Saturday afternoons from 2-5pm. The course begins October 19th and ends November 16th. Please plan to leave early to find parking in Downtown.
What do I need to bring?
Firing, glazes, and clay are all included. Please dress for mess…and I mean MESS! We have aprons and smocks you can wear if needed.
