Kid’s Day at Local Color

Join us in celebrating young artists at Local Color Studio! From 3-8pm we will have a variety of stations with various creative activities for children to rotate through. This event is perfect for children aged 5-13 years old and their mommas – enjoy a day at the studio together learning new skills and creating memories in an environment where they can get messy and let their imaginations run wild!

Activity Stations Include:

• Paper-mache – Make paper-mache using balloons!
• Hand-building with Air Dry Clay – Sculpt your choice of a little statue, action figures, or animal!
• Painting – Paint with tempera paint sticks and on a large community artwork shaped like a chicken and individual egg/chick shapes!
• Printmaking – Use styrofoam and markers to practice the techniques of printmaking!
• Photo Booth – Snap a picture at the Photo Booth!
• Tie Dye Art – Play with the fun effects of tie dye with bandanas!

Please dress for mess!

*This is not a drop off class!* – Adults do not have to pay for a ticket, but we do ask a parent/grandparent stay with your kiddo for the event! Thank you!
